Rotortrade mid-year results

August 30, 2018  By Helicopters Staff

Rotortrade Services, an independent helicopter dealer and sole global distributor of Leonardo’s pre-owned helicopters, released financial results for its first half of 2018.

The company points to 12 deliveries and nine backlogs across all manufacturers, class and mission for the first half of the year. Rotortrade also secured new exclusive mandates for 16 helicopters over the same period.

“Overall sales for the year are expected to be in line to last year’s record 26 helicopter sales while the product mix should favour more twin-engine helicopters including some heavies,” said Philippe Lubrano, president, Rotortrade.

Pointing to its global expansion strategy, Rototrade has signed three new network agreements with Mode Aviation in Guatemala, Gualter Helicopteros in Brazil, and a third operator that has not yet been named.

“We are getting stronger and stronger in our home markets of Asia-Pacific, South America and Europe and are pursuing our growth strategy in these regions as well as others without losing sight of our values and low cost and proximity model,” said Lubrano.
